Overview
The intended recipient of this project is the sole governmental body in Nigeria tasked with regulating and standardising the quality of all products. They were set to roll out an executive dashboard that would give directors a comprehensive view of how the entire firm was operating.
They requested the dashboard to have the following features, in addition to being available via a web browser and connected to frequently updated data sources:
- Display of performance metrics visually.
- The capacity to spot and reverse harmful trends.
- The capability of measuring efficacy and inefficacy.
- The capacity to produce in-depth reports highlighting fresh trends.
SON awarded the project to a company that, eventually, subcontracted it to Starfolk to provide application development services for the project due to our expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of desktop applications.
Solution
We developed, produced, and deployed a custom dashboard builder to provide an executive summary of the key performance metrics and high-level data for each department inside the organisation. This implies that directors may design distinctive dashboards in any way they choose for business targets.
Widgets that represent each of the listed KPIs can be used to build a dashboard. Any number of widget combinations may be used by a director to create as many dashboards as desired. Additionally, administrators have access to the admin portal where they can customise the entire system.
